DSE, Ergonomic and Return to Work risk assessments
DSE risk assessment
We carry out DSE assessments for a wide range of companies in London
and Southern England. We offer this on an individual or group basis,
or can offer a number of other solutions. Typical clients are financial
companies in the City of London (please call if you require references).
We provide posture training and awareness.
We can advise regarding online training or offer you DSE assessor
training.
Ergonomic assessments
We have extensive experience of carrying out ergonomic risk assessments
for all types of organisations. This can be office or industrial,
vehicle, site or mobile work places.
The assessment may be an assembly line that is been associated with
upper limb pain, a manual handling task for a van driver with back
pain, a bank or building society counter causing problems to different
users.
Whatever the issue please call us on 01747 871868 or ask us a Question
on ergonomic assessments.
Workers with musculoskeletal pain and other disorders
We have extensive experience of undertaking
risk assessments for workers with all types of conditions: lower
limb pain (sciatica, DVT), lower back pain (disc prolapse, back
operations, scoliosis etc), upper back (kyphois, thoracic outlet
syndrome etc), neck pain (whiplash, cervical spondylosis), upper
limb pain (rsi, CTS, RFS), hand conditions (trigger thumb etc),
fatigue, fibromyalgia, Parkinson's disease, muscular dystrophy etc.
Whatever the issue please call us on 01747 871868 or ask us a Question
regarding this type of assessment
Workers with disabilities
We have worked with the Disability Rights Commission
and the HSE on defining guidance for undertaking risk assessments
for disabled workers. We have also produced the definitive guide
for this type of assessment 'Risk assessments for disabled workers'
and sell this as a handbook.
When we carry out this type of assessment it
follows our model 'The 4EQ'. This model features in our training
'Risk assessments for disabled workers' which we have used to train
many of the occupational health departments in the UK, along with
occupational health advisers, physiotherapists, ergonomists, occupational
health physicians and consultants.
Whatever the issue please
call us on 01747 871868 or ask us a Question
regarding this type of assessment
If you employ a number of disabled staff or
staff that have specialist needs (rsi, fibromyalgia, back pain),
then you may wish for an audit to be carried out on all staff to
ensure that they are safe and are not at risk. There is a legal
requirement to ensure all risk assessments are current. The audit
would help to resolve this.
