Ergonomic methodology seminar

Research has found that staff involved in risk assessment and employee wellbeing lack concise and accurate understanding of upper body anatomy and physiology, therefore when trying to make changes for workers with conditions in these areas they are putting both the employee and employer at risk.
The ‘Ergonomic methodology’ is designed around two EEP bespoke ergonomic tools, 1) the BSI body mapping tool (BSI) and, 2) the Ergonomic Solution Matrix (ESM). When these tools are combined with ergonomic and scientific principles it will enable you to perform competent and reliable assessments based on applied science and not trial and error
Who should attend?
All staff involved in risk assessments and employee wellbeing, and wish to gain a holistic understanding of how the upper body works so that appropriate workplace solutions can be made.
Why attend?

Our  seminar is designed to meet two requirements:
1) Provide an understanding of how the upper part of the body works, and how to avoid it being injured. If a worker is injured, it will show how further injury can be avoided. This is achieved by examining different musculoskeletal conditions that affect the upper body, and showing how through the use of our bespoke body movement mapping tool further risk can be minimised

2) Having understood essential anatomy and physiology, risk assessors and employee wellbeing advisors can then use our groundbreaking methodology to determine the most effective solution for workers with specific conditions; this is based on current scientific research.

If a product solution is required, and often it is not, our Product Selection Matrix (PSM)will enable the assessor to quickly evaluate ergonomic requirements and provide a quantitative data output for cost justification purposes and speed of action.

What resources do I get?
