Return to work assessments
If you have a staff member returning to work and require a suitable risk assessment to be carried out, we can to do this for you.
It is a legal requirement under the Management of Health and Safety at Work regulations that a risk assessment that is suitable and takes into consideration a persons capability is undertaken by a competent person.
The New Fit to Work forms (2010) will require that the assessment identifies what short term solutions need to be put in place, or if the Disability Discrimination Act (1995) applies, what long term reasonable adjustments must be made.

Our credentials |
We have undertaken return to work assessments for the Department of Work and Pensions for the past 11 years, in that time we have enabled over 4,500 workers to return and stay in work. Duncan Abbott was national adviser to the Disability Rights Commission on defining the Health and Safety Executive guidance for risk assessors 'How to undertake risk assessments for disabled workers'. This guidance can be found on the HSE website. enricoSmog ergonomic practitioners train many of the UK's occupational health and safety practitioners and our handbooks are essential reference materials for todays busy professionals. |
